I'm new here as I tried to get Komplete Kontrol working in Logic Pro X but got stuck on the controls also. All I wanted was transparency, and you definitely provided that.

I’m a software developer myself, and I know all software has bugs and some can be extremely tricky to track down. I’ll be very interested to see if Cedric’s fix is permanent or not. If I’m wrong, and these fixes do work permanently, then I think that hasn’t been well-communicated in the several threads that end with someone saying “it worked for a bit, but then it stopped again.” My support thread on this issue was closed, and I’ve seen several other support and forum threads in the same situation. They work initially, but the problems resurface the next time I open Logic, until I restart my computer. I have tried all of these for nearly a year and none have worked consistently. That said, I still feel like there is likely to be an issue here that isn’t described above and isn’t solved by the local solutions you’ve posted throughout these forums (such as deleting the preferences file, resetting Control Surface configuration, making sure NIHostIntegrationAgent is in Login Items, confirm firewall settings). We are unable to reliably reproduce any other issues with LPX integration in-house, and believe that it is currently robust for all keyboard models on supported operating systems / versions of LPX. The workaround is to navigate away from and back to the currently selected track, after which the connection to KOMPLETE KONTROL plug-in is restored.īoth issues are being investigated internally, despite the known workarounds.

This does not appear to affect all users who upgrade, and integration is fully restored after resetting Control Surface preferences (by following the steps in the article, or my first post in this thread).

After updating to version 10.5, keyboard integration may stop working.
